Happy they are open again. Pick up only. You have to call to place an order. The food is still good. I ordered esco chicken, rice and peas with fresh veg (salad). The salad now comes in a small container separate from the food.

The waiters and hostess were great tonight... Very friendly. Additionally, the food came in good time and was properly flavored. Oh... and the greeter who seated us was very pleasant and professional.

The food and drinks are DELICIOUS!!! And the customer service is fantastic! Everyone who answers the phone is lovely and polite

The food was very good and super delicious. I went there because my mother, friends and cousins kept talking so highly of the place I had to try it out. Now I know why. They have a restaurant and take out. The prices are reasonable. Caribbean food at it's best. There is a crowd of people but the wait is worth it.

I placed an order for pick up but they forgot to include my sea food soup. I live in long island so I was a bit bugged by this and I had paid a $65 order with cash. I called the Door but they insisted that the most the supervisor could do is to refund my cash only when I returned with my receipt and no other compensation was offered considering it was their error at my inconvenience. I wasn't offered an upgrade or anything else for my time or commute. Guess they didn't appreciate my patronage. I was met with indifference and apathy. Guess I won't go out of my way again just to support them and they most likely will become $5 richer. I am done.

The food was great. Service has changed a bit since I was last here over a year ago. But the chef is still the boss! Makes me clean my plate every time

Food was very tasty, well seasoned. They ran out of plates often and food, but it was quickly replenished. The bathrooms were kept clean all night! Line was long to get in as always, but staff work hard to seat patrons in a timely manner. I can't wait to visit here again!! 👍🏽👍🏽

The Door is consistently good and we’ve never had a bad meal from here. Depending on the time you go, parking can be quite challenging so plan your visits accordingly. The waitstaff is friendly and professional. I definitely recommend trying them out if you’ve never been.

Great Ambiance and good food. Wait a bit longer than expected but if prepared, the occasion can be a fantastic experience. My family and I can't wait for a revisit.

My Receipt says Melissa!! Big Up!!! But thanks to the crew tonight. My friend asked at the last minute if I could go get some curry goat for him. I called, and thank god they told me what time they were closing. Got there in time, and food was Hot and Ready. Thanks for feeding us tonight The Door!

You will walk a little slower leaving because you're so full.I enjoyed the homemade fruit juice and all the meat that was ordered was succulent and fell of the bone. I was licking my fingers . I would eat here again.

The food was blah, I ordered the Jerk T bone and requested it to be cooked medium rare and it was over cooked Well done to be exact, and tough too. The flavor wad good, I was very disappointed in the cut of beef. The cabbage had no flavor and could've been cooked just a bit more, it tasted like raw cabbage which was also disappointing. The baked potato was perfect. We waited a long time for our order so I figured it was being cooked fresh. Oh well so much for the longer you wait the better it will be. Nothing to brag about.

Sunday brunch was delicious with numerous Jamaican favorites. The servers were attentive, professional and friendly. They also gave a complimentary slice of birthday cake and sang. Will definitely return for the class act service, ambiance and food

The food was so good, I had the curry goat. The service was great, I have no complaints. So far this was my fifth visit and I was not disappointed. The wait time was much less than usual and I went on a Saturday evening, I was pretty surprised. I will definitely go back, and every time I do I end up introducing another one of my friends to the place.

Well we had brunch at the door for my daughter's 29 Birthday. Everything was excellent....our server Vincent was absolutely delightful. I want to thank Quincy the bar tender for the wonderful Mango Margaritas. I enjoyed myself and my daughter did too. Definitely will return to The Door. (Jerk Chicken and Garlic butter shrimp)

Visited the door with my family for the 1st time, our experience was not as expected after waiting for 1 hour the food came out cold (despite telling the waiter to bring out whatever is ready he totally disregarded our request)our waiter instead of serving the food he left it and had someone else come to serve us, I thought that was very disrespectful, I spoke to the manager on duty but that didn't seems to resolve anything all she did was apologize. This was a waste of our time because all the food we bought had to be boxed up because we dont eat cold food and we were not pleased with the service. I gave 2 stars because the bread and butter was good.

I went here with a friend for lunch. Beautiful restaurant inside and out. The oxtails were very good. The bathrooms are clean. The staff could've came around a bit more and made better conversation, but all in all I had a good experience.

I remember back when I was in high school, I would have an hour lunch break, and I always made it my duty to get my food here so I can eat something for lunch and get some food for work. The Door has never disappointed not once! I still til this day recommend The Door to people! From their amazing, delicious food to the dining experience, everything is amazing! Good food for the most part. However, call in an order and they tell you 15 mins when your order but it won’t be ready for another hour or more. Called my order in today at 1:44 for example. They said 15 minutes and it’s now 3pm still waiting. This is more often than not the case.

Whoever cooked my food put peer love in it. The brown stew snapper was phenomenal. The pepper shrimp was to die for. 😋 I haven't been there in forever and they did not disappoint. ❤️

I admire this spot! They provide excellent dishes, their menu is decent, The chief cook in that spot is very trained, I love a lot eating all their food. The food is consistently of high qualtity, the service towards the customers is good. I frequently visit this restaurant and I not even once was unhappy. Highly recommended.

The food (brunch, lunch and dinner) has NEVER disappointed us. Satisfying portions. You taste the flavor of every item. The staff works in sync as a team; they’re friendly and attentive.

I was so excited to taste the door’s tasty crab so Eventually I got to eating my crab and then I found a hair wrapped in my crab I did not even want to eat there anymore. Even when I explained that I didn’t want to eat anything I want a refund they refused and gave me 5% off the food. Very bad for business

The food here is so good! Can never go wrong with fried chicken and curry goat. I am always pleased with my food. The Jamaican sweet treats are also ok. Hubby loves the ginger bulla

This family owned/operated business has grown from a small take-out spot to a full restaurant that takes up the whole corner of the block. The food always tastes great with new and familiar dishes from the Caribbean. I've been proud of this community based BLACK business for a very long time and I plan to support it until I can't anymore. Thank you for being an inspirational landmark in my hometown!

I come hear every once in a while. Enjoy there meals, appetizers and drinks. Have many favorites from the oxtails with peas and rice, to the tofu with vegetables. And there garlic shrimp with bread or calamari is very tasty.

I come to the Door restaurant all the time and I’m always satisfied. Their customer service and staff are so well trained. I’m never disappointed. Food is excellent. Brunch is really good. I recently celebrated my mother’s birthday and they did an amazing job with cake and the presentation of the cake. Perfection. I’m mostly happy with excellent service as I find it hard to find good service in places anymore. They go above and beyond!

Good restaurant. Curry coat with rice was very good. I tried goat head soup, I bit spicy but was delicious. Staff were friendly and efficient. Parking lot right in front of the restaurant. Food could be a little bit warmer that's why I didn't give them five starts.

Great customer service!!! Food great most of times. Chicken soup inconsistent. Pea soup and fish soup great. Chicken fish, oxtail all need to try. Always crowded, but they.handle it :very professional to get you out fast.

The food was great and the staff are very polite and professional. My only issue is there needs to be a little bit more room. The table we were seated at for 5 people seemed to be a little small. Despite that I will be going back to enjoy another meal.

Been going here for years and its obvious they cannot find a process that works. The take section is a hot mess. The food was great at one point but its just ok now. The process to get your take out very confusing. There is no way a take out order should take over 30 minutes and if its a holiday over an 1hr. Management has no clue what the customers experience.

My first-time visit to the Door was thrilling. My wife surprised, on my birthday in September 2018 with a visit to the famed Door restaurant. Real Jamaican food for every occasion can be had here. Visiting the door is an experience in and of itself, and one that will treat you to real Jamaican food for reasonable prices.
